August has been crazy busy around here! From traveling to Oregon and Colorado for weddings, prepping for our wedding next month, installing a project in Nevada, trying to keep all of our plants alive during the heat, and prepping for a styling project—this month has flown by!

Yes, it is still officially summer and I do not want to wish that away but I feel like I am already seeing glimpses of fall. So, as we begin this the transition into my favorite season, here are a few of my favorite things right now.

For the home- subtle stripes, creative tile layouts, low contrast color combinations, and vintage silver accents.

In the kitchen- cooking with all the fresh herbs and enjoying al fresco dining.

In the garden- planting artichokes, prepping for the fall garden, and shopping the late summer plant discounts.
